Adobe Illustrator for Scientists

I’ve been trying to learn how to make better scientific diagrams and posters, and I stumbled upon this resource that I wanted to share.

It’s a video tutorial for Adobe Illustrator, but tailored to scientists, so it focuses on how to export plots from MATLAB, how to setup a poster, etc. I’ve found it very helpful and wanted to share it here.

The tutorial is an 8 part series on Youtube by Patrick Mineault (his website is here), a grad student at McGill University. I’ve embedded the first of the videos below, but you can find a link to all of them on his website or at his Youtube channel.

Have fun!
